Before that:
1)What's the purpose of the build?
2)Resolution and refresh rate of the monitor?

Purpose is for 2k/Some 4k Gaming, but also want it too last for a fair few years. In regards to the monitor, at the moment i haven't scoped it in as mainly play off my Samsung 4K TV which as i understand only has 60hz. I will look at monitors when i have room for a desk!

That's a pretty decent build. Not too sure about that PSU.

I cannot find it in the 3 PSU Tier list I'm using.

I have no idea if this is an old model. I would change it to a Corsair RMX 650 Gold.

Ok thanks, the PSU comes part of a bundle on offer atm ( https://www.pccasegear.com/bundle/200101/ ) its basically the only part i haven't hand picked and comes with the case for $299AUD.. which is why i was considering...

What is the 3 PSU Tier list?

What is the 3 PSU Tier list?

That case is like 167AUD. I have no idea if this PSU is worth 132AUD. looks like a bad deal.

Here are the list I use when I wanna see if a PSU is a good quality one.

PSU tier lists are simple to use and a good quick reference, sure, but you should definitely do your own research as well, instead of making your decision based on a simple list. How these units are ranked is really subjective, and results in some fear mongering over perfectly good units, for example, G3 in the LTT list.

AMP is a seasonic OEM unit, and it's pretty high quality.

It's a good list, and should last you a few years. But depending on pricing, you may want to switch out the card with a Gigabyte Gaming OC, or Sapphire Nitro, as they are also really good but often lower priced (at least in the US).

I totally understand but don't worry. I do my research. I only use these for a quick look and after that I normally look at it on forums but after a while you know which one is good because of the recommendations you see in this forum.

Try as I might, I just couldn't fit a 2080 Super in there. What I managed to put together was like 60AUD more than the initial build:

fyi: Aris has done testing on the 550 and 750 watt models, they're internally a Seasonic Focus GX (the 2019 version of focus)

Wow thank you for the insight. I am wondering through, is the performance of the 2070 super worth more than the reduction of the 3700x to the 3600? Also should i be looking at 3600mhz for optimisation?

Yes. The difference in performance between the 3600 and 3700X is next to nonexistent. Plus the choice of cpu doesn't have as much of an impact at higher resolutions compared to the gpu.
If you believe the 3600 will use all 12 of it's threads in game over the next few years, then sure, grab a 3700X instead. Games only recently started on 6-8 threads, and they were running up to 4 for ages, due to Intel purposefully stagnating the market.

Also should i be looking at 3600mhz for optimisation?
Depends on the pricing and the primary timings of the kits. For example:
G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory, with primary timings of 19-20-20-40
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory, with primary timings of 16-18-18-38
The pricing between these 2 in particular is pretty small, so it's probably fine to just take the 3600 kit - depends on where you shop, as you may see a larger discrepancy in prices.
Frequency first, 3600mhz should be better, but the looser timings on that kit will offset the speed advantage to the point that the 3200 kit is just as fast.
The prices change frequently, so it's something to keep an eye out for.
