Hello, I really want to upgrade some parts of my pc because I am currently running a GTX760 with a 2 core CPU.. yeah. So the parts I want to upgrade are : CPU, mobo, ram and the PSU.

For the CPU I'm going to chose: AMD FX Series FX 6300 3.5GHZ 14MB 95W PIB
The Mobo is going to be : Asus Socket AM3+ M5A97 LE R2.0
For the PSU I chose : Chieftec GPS-600A8 600W
And for the ram I'm going to get : 2x Crucial DDR3 MEMORY DIMM 4GB PC12800 /CT51264BA160BJ

I decided to go with the CPU because I heard it's decent and will do it's job and perform well in games.

Will this build work?

I agree, I might swap out the PSU but about the motherboard, I don't think I'm going to overclock the CPU, should I still get a better one?

I would strongly recommend paying $25 extra to get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler, the stock CPU cooler is VERY noisy and performs horribly.
Also, get a good quality PSU, the one you picked is from a terrible brand and it'll most likely fail (or maybe set on fire...), use this instead:

Blackbird, are there any particular advantages of that board? As far as I know, the m5a97 is pretty similar and if you're not overclocking whichever is cheapest will be a better choice.

I could get the cooler, but the PSU you reccomended isn't in the selection.
