Should work fine. Don't forget a CPU cooler if you intend to overclock.

- Grab a slightly better Z170 board. Even a modest PRO4 would be okay.
- You could save a few bucks by dropping to the i5-6400. They'll likely overclock the same
- Great power supply, but a touch overkill. I quality 500-550W unit would do fine. But this is great regardless.

He might do SLI in the future which is probably why he picked a large power supply...
