Hello everybody,

I am doing my first pc build and I would like someone to check whether my components will work. Should I use a Radeon R9 390x or a Geforce GTX 970?

Motherboard MSI Z170A PC MATE
CPU intel i5 6600k 3.5GHz
GPU MSI R9 390 GAMING 8G
Power source Fortron FSP650-80EGN 80PLUS GOLD, black, bulk 650W
CPU cooler Coolermaster Hyper 212
Case Fractal Design Define S
Disk drive ASUS DRW-24F1MT/ BLACK/ BULK
RAM 2x 4GB DDR3-1866MHz Kingston HyperX Fury Blue
I have a 3.5 inch HHD (1 TB) and a 2.5 inch SSD (120 GB) just for the OS

Do I need anything else except a screwdriver and a grounding strap for actually building the PC?

Thanks for you help.

Solution
The 390x will have a bit better performance, but if you're gaming at 1080p, i would take the 970. Lower wattage and less noise, and will do a perfect job for 1080p gaming.
For the power supply i would put a better quality one, like an EVGA, Seasonic, XFX or Silverstone.
