Will this build work???

Hello everybody,

I am doing my first pc build and I would like someone to check whether my components will work. Should I use a Radeon R9 390x or a Geforce GTX 970?

I have a 3.5 inch HHD (1 TB) and a 2.5 inch SSD (120 GB) just for the OS

Do I need anything else except a screwdriver and a grounding strap for actually building the PC?

The 390x will have a bit better performance, but if you're gaming at 1080p, i would take the 970. Lower wattage and less noise, and will do a perfect job for 1080p gaming.
For the power supply i would put a better quality one, like an EVGA, Seasonic, XFX or Silverstone.

You should be alright on both counts- only thing is you might consider going for the define r5- it will look super empty with a define s.
