Hey guys!

So, I'm thinking of upgrading my PC soon, and I just want to know if I've done my research correctly & confirm that these parts will all work together:

Motherboard: Intel DH61WW Board (older board, but I believe it should work)
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti DUAL 4GB
CPU: Intel Core i7-2700K 3.5GHz Socket 1155
PSU: Not exactly sure of the exact model and brand, but it's a 550W PSU that's served me well.

If I've done my research correctly, these should all work together. If anyone is able to confirm this, it would be much appreciated! If you're also up for giving me an opinion on what you think this PC will be like running games, it would be great! I'm looking to be able to run newer games like BF1 & Destiny on at leastmedium settings and if possible, max settings.

Thanks guys!

it should work, i'd recommend the i7-2600 instead of the i7-2600k(since u chose a locked mobo) if you really want the lga 1151 all along, i'd really recommend ryzen 7 instead of this $299 cpu
ryzen 7 1700 + msi b350 = $360 overclockable 2017
ryzen 5 1600x + msi b350 = $270 overclockable 2017
2700k + intel mobo = $390 not overclockable 2011
so it seems pretty clear to me, go with the ryzen
and with the ryzen 5 you can save up a bit a you maybe able to get the gtx 1060 instead
good luck

Thanks for the reply!
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't believe the mobo supports the Ryzen 5? As far as I'm aware it only supports Intel CPUs.

Yes you are correct it doesnt support it, the thing is with old tech some stuff like CPU's can get more expensive the older they get, you can get a brand new Intel or AMD system for less money than that,.
