Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a complete setup, I'm going to need a PC for my office ( not chose yet) and this laptop ( HP spectre, i7 with 1050TI 4gb graphics)

https://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=3B131EA&opt=ABU&sel=NTB&bid=DYN_BUNDLE_0005455_3B131EA_ABU&at1=U7C91E~1~1&at2=2SR85AA___ABB~1~2&at3=3NZ70AA___ABB~1~3

I'm looking to get this screen:

https://www.ebuyer.com/798341-samsung-c49hg90-49-curved-ultrawide-gaming-monitor-lc49hg90dmuxen

Can anyone tell me if the laptop will work on this screen? and what sort of card will I need in my desktop to run this screen? It WILL NOT be used for gaming just for general work and productivity and needing to have open multiple programmes and tabs at the same time. I just want to make sure the card in the laptop which I think is a NVIDIA 1050TI 4GB and whatever card is recommended for the desktop will display on this screen.

Many Thanks

I dont know if your laptop has a display port or a hdmi port but if it does then yes, you can run that screen in basic desktop usage easily, no worry about it.

Also if you linked the correct laptop, it does indeed have a 1650 which also can run that screen.

Thanks for your time and help,

The laptop has these ports which Ive copied from the product specification "
2 Thunderbolt™ 3 (40Gbps signaling rate) with SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)
1 HDMI 2.0b

so It should have no problems running that screen? sorry, I'm a complete noob, just didn't want to spend the money and it not all work in sync

Thanks again
