Hello,

I am looking to purchase the two of the MSI GeForce GTS 250 512MB GDDR3 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card. Will this be a good match for the system I have? They are selling for $95 at Newegg.com. Any other suggestions?

Here is my system:

1. Intel Core i5 750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
2. GIGABYTE GA-P55-UD4P LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
3. HP Black 1260I SATA DVD/CD Burner
4. Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard x 1
5. Western Digital VelociRaptor WD3000HLFS 300GB 10000 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive x 2
6. LG W2043T-PF Black 20" 5ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor x 3
7. Geek Squad 1500VA UPS/Battery Back-Up System
8. G.SKILL Trident 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD
9. Antec TruePower New TP-750 750W Power Supply
10. Cooler Master Strom Scout Case

Thanks :)

The GTS 250 is old technology and, in my opinion, not worth investing the money. I would go with a single gtx260 or for a little bit more money, a single gtx275. These would perform better than sli'd 250's.

First, I would wait a week for the new ATI cards to come out, see what prices do.
Second, although they are "decent" cards, buying 2 250's and putting them in SLI would not really be my first choice. There are other cards around at or just over the $200 mark I would rather have. Buy a better single card now, in 8 months to a year when you feel the need to upgrade, then buy another.
Shoot man, for $220 you can have a 4890 1 gb, or a GTX275! I would much rather pay $220 for 1 of these than $190 for a couple of 250's.

Thanks for the suggestions. I need to be able to run three monitors right away so I need to have two cards for my business unless you know of another way to set this up that I am missing? I am new to custom builds. thx
