So my current mobo is a
http://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/M5A78LMUSB3/
and current ram is
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00IJO5WQG/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?qid=1416894603&sr=8-10&pi=AC_SX110_SY165
And im planning on adding more ram so which one out of these two would be the better idea or are they both bad ideas?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00J8E91H2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1416894603&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40
and the second one
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00J8E91T0/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1416894603&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX200_QL40
thanks in advance for your help.
Oh and the reason im not buying a 1x8gb stick or 2x4gb sticksbof the exact same ram is its prettt expensive... but for arguments sake which of my linked ones is a better choice... if any?
EDIT my current ram is 2x4gb of genesis NOT 1x8gb like the amazon link is, my bad.

Solution
Because you have two sticks already, they work in dual channel. If you install another 2 modules (work very well) you would get the benefit of 16GB of RAM., all working. The single 8GB module would work (I think), but it would perform much less.
