Hey hows it going guys. First I want to say I'm a nood when it comes to computer. So I customized this gaming computer on Ibuypower and I was thinking if this will be good for League of legends+ fraps, and a maybe a few other games since I mostly a console gamer. Right now Im recording my gameplays on an I3 with a radeon hd 6670 I'm able to play with high setting and get over 50fps but when I turn fraps on i have to go to medium settings and I only get about 30fps..

Im looking to play the game in high setting with fraps and atleast get 50fps, Im getting another computer because my girl will be using the i3. and I'm getting another computer so we can play together at home and well I want a stronger computer to record and edit my videos.

Solution
The GPU is VERY weak. Fine for league, but for other modern games you will be at a mix of low/medium settings at 1080p.

The PSU is not very good either. Stick with Antec, Corsair (not cx, cs, rm), XFX, Seasonic.
That cpu will handle fraps much better, although with an nvidia card you get shadowplay with the geforce experience program. For my 670 it takes off 2-3 fps but I'm not sure how it performs or affects a weak gpu

Im giving this computer(I3) to my wife and I need another one and this computer is fine for what she needs.
ps cant wait for that heim visual update

I know this will sounds stupid for you but which one is the gpu and the psu? lol sorry.

ah I see lol. Ok so I upgraded a bit and picked this one: 500 Watt - Corsair CX500 V2 - 80 PLUS Bronze

Now the gpu will it be better if i go for the TI version of that one? Im trying not to go over 1000+ ship and right now im at 892 and if I upgrade to the TI it will go up to 944+ 75 for the shipping. will it be worth it?

Im afraid to even to that right now lol i dont want to mess up and have to buy a part again.

Well I would at least watch a video to see how easy it is 😉

If it seems like it's not cut out for you I guess you could go with a pre built.

P.S I'm running LoL on a 512 mb GPU and a crappy dual core and its at max settings at 60fps, and yes I'm waiting on heim too 😛

Ok thank you so much, i'll think about getting the TI. I could just stick with the one i picked first and see how it runs with the games i'll play and if one day i need more power i'll save up and get a better video card.

Just one more question, Will the liquid cpu cooling system really make a difference compared to standard cooling fans?

Not really as you can't overclock a 4670. If there's a cheaper air option take it, otherwise leave it stock

Alright i'll get the regular fan, and see what my wallet thinks about what gpu to get, thank you(x4) for the help.

yea i'll get the stock one and take off the liquid one, and i'll be sure to look around on how to build a pc, thank you.

yea i might just get the one i planned and get a better video card later on.

i understand, I'm mostly a console gamer and I only play a bit of games in my computer like LOL, some mmos and indie games that are only on pc, so I dont mind, plus if one day I really need a better gpu ill get one but I dont think ill need it right now that badly.

ps. if you see the computer i have right now that i use to record LOL and edit my videos you will laugh at it lol.
