I am building a gaming PC and I have bought an aftermarket CPU (CM Hyper 212 Evo) to cool my i3 6100. My case is the Cooler Master Kendomen and my mother board is the ASRock B150 GAMING K4/HYPER ATX LGA1151 Motherboard. Will the aftermarket CPU cooler fit in my case. Or is it to big?

Also what would you recommend for a case, the Cooler Master Kendomen or the Corsair Carbide Spec-01. And will the cooler fit. Thanks
:)

First of all, the i3-6100 comes with a perfectly adequate stock cooler.
The main reason for an aftermarket cooler is noise reduction.
The hyper212 is 159mm tall which should fit in the cm case.
As I recall the spec01 case is more restrictive, allowing only 158mm.
Check that out.
You can bypass any such issue with a $30 Cryorig H7 cooler which takes only 145mm.
