Just like any other aio, the only differences are the mounting brackets. Up till now amd has been an all in one bracket that fit everything for the last 15yrs or so. Intel has had a couple of changes, but the brackets are designed to be adaptable for anything past lga 1155/56. For older 1366/771/775, you'd need a different bracket. It's just that the Am4 is new. And as far is I know it's slightly different. Manufacturers have already started boxing up adapters, but for those coolers made before am4 came out, you'd need to go get one from the manufacturer of your cooler. Asetek has them, it's a fact, but even ppl buying coolers now (where web pages state they have am4 brackets) are still getting older stock, so have to contact the...

Well the thing is I'm not looking to get one, I already have one😛 and it actaully is a very Good cooler, asetek is actaully a co partner with corsair. U can Google it and read in it. It cools my fx 8350 like nothing. But I'm looking to upgrade my cpu to ryzen so I need to know it can be used with an am4 mounting system, It should cuz am3+ and am4 mounting don't look to different but I need a certain answer. Thanks!

If it works with fm2+ will it work with am4, cuz that page says the corsair h60 (Which is very similar or same maybe to the asetek 550lc) works with fm2 and I have a rig using fm2+ and it also says it works with am4.. idk

Asetek is the OEM for a good majority of AIO pumps, they are the smaller 'hockey puck' pumps. The square ones Corsair likes for its 100i etc, are Cool It pumps, and imho, not as good. The last is eisberg, which even they work right are the best, but those are few and far between, mostly they are loud p.o.s.

So yes, guaranteed you've known about Asetek, you just didn't know you did ;p

Am4 is separate, none (unless universal) of the prior back plates work. However, if you contact Asetek, they'll probably send an Am4 backplate for free. (most have been good about this)

It might just be that the amd backplate you already have is universal, it might fit am4, you'd have to contact Asetek directly and find out exactly.
