Also, if not, what are things I can tweak? I'm not much of a techsavvy so I didn't change the motherboard or harddrive.

I'm planning to adjust my harddrive (ssd) to 240GB Corsair Force GS Series SATA-III SSD - 555MB/s Read & 525MB/s Write, but the price goes up to $1635 so I'm not sure what to change.

would it be necessary to upgrade from a 128 gb ssd harddrive to a 240gb?

The extra storage could be useful , but SSD's are expensive so most of us use a 128 Gig SSD for Windows and programs and a conventional hard drive to store data on
