Will this Displayport to DVI adapter support 144Hz

I was at Best Buy and they had no adapters in stock. So I ordered this one. Will this be capable of 1080p at 144hz for my acer gn246hl on an EVGA 1070 gtx ftw? The card sadly has only 1 DVI-D dual link port and I have two monitors.

No, it states right on the page it supports upto 1080p@60hz. You need a DP to dual link DVI adapter and they arent cheap.

also make sure it is not one of the cheaper self power models, it needs to have a usb plug to draw power like the one bignastyid showed. other ones that don't have some form of being actively powered mostly miss even though some claim they will work.
