Hello,
I realise there are a lot of these kind of topics out there, but I just want to know if this would work for my demands.
I have a gigabit network in my house, so I wanted the mobo to have a gigabit connection at least. Besides that I want to make sure that I can play at 1080p with 60fps. I have ran tests with my HP Probook 430 G1 on its own (1366x768) and an external monitor (1920x1080), both times I managed to get 60fps. The reason why I don't want to always use my laptop is that I have to bring it with me wherever I go, which means a lot of disconnecting. Besides that is that I want it to support 8-channel HD audio, just in case it eventually might be possible to have 5.1 or 7.1 using Steam In-home streaming.
With those demands in mind and somewhat comparing them to my current laptop, I came up with this list:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
CPU: AMD A8-7600 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($79.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A88M EXTREME4+ Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard ($58.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($43.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $232.95
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Then there is the case and power supply, which I couldn't find on PCPartPicker: LC Power LC-1400mi (http://www.lc-power.com/en/product/gehaeuse/mini-itx/lc-1400mi/)
I would like to hear if this is a good system and if it will do for my demands. Also, if there are ways to drastically decrease the cost without sacrificing much performance (again, my demands) - let me know!
Thanks in advance!
