I have an hp a6305 case and i wanna upgrade the motherboard and the cases dimensions are (9.6"x9.6") <MICRO ATX and the motherboard is an ASUS P8H61-MX-USB 3.0 and its dimensions are (9.6"x7.2") <MICRO ATX

Thanks :)

The case is 9.6x9.6 ? What is the dimension of the motherboard that is in there now ?
Is the new motherbord that you want to put in the Asus P8H61-MX ?
The one dimension of 9.6 on the motherboard is the same as the case and usually the motherboard has to be smaller than the case.

That board will definitely not fit in that case. In fat, it's possible no board other than an HP one will fit at all because sometimes, HP uses boards with a non-standard fixing hole configuration. Cases are cheap enough and the board you quote is an ATX - not a Micro ATX.

On Asus it says uatx and at amazon.co.uk it says micro atx probbabally a mistake

The board in your link actually describes itself as an ATX. The third photograph from the left shows the position of some of the holes but not very clearly. Before spending £195, I think it best to remove the board from the HP case to see the hole configuration on that. I also have concerns about the PSU in the HP case - many of theirs were one-offs but as I said before, cases are cheap and you could find something quite flashy on e-Bay for under twenty quid. Good luck with the build.

Thanks!
