Hello everyone I have been experimenting with Skyrim ENB's. Those are tweaks to the game that increase graphic performance. My question is this. Will my computer be damaged if I play for an extended period of time under these conditions? I'll post my specs and max temperatures but for anyone that wants a more in depth examination i can send you my CPUid HW test i just ran while playing the game for 3 mins.

AMD PHENOM II x4 970 overclocked to 4ghz max temperature during test was 61 degrees Celsius

Powercolor Amd Radeon 6850 max temperature was 70 degrees celsius

it has a fan in the back and a liquid cooling system. Im not sure how to check what kind of liquid cooling and fan size.

this is all enclosed in a mid tower case with little room on the inside. I apoligize if i left out any important details. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If i keep running the game do u think it will continue to get hotter or will the liquid cooling keep it stable. Im going to run a test but im just being safe. Btw i dont even notice a loss in framerate. Thanks for your help.

Well you can download HWMonitor and run it in the background while you play. Then just check afterwards what was the max temp recorded. Usually if you overheat your CPU or GPU it will auto shutdown when it gets too hot. It's very rare that it would fry straight away and would then be likely be covered by warranty.

That said running components at too high temperatures for prolonged periods of time lowers their lifetime somewhat. You should be good up to the 80s or so.
