No, it will not take the 290x, the longest Gpu that case supports it 23cm, 290x is 30.5cm

The GTX 970 will have 1 millimeter of clearance. Those are old cards, I recommend a GTX 1060 or RX 480 instead.

Overclocking features and expansions, and true it does only support up to 1333, so any clocked higher ram will run at 1333
