So I have found an RTX 3070 ASUS ROG STRIX for very cheap ( huge discount ) and already ordered it. Now I wonder if it would actually fit in my motherboard, because I only checked the length and not the height of it. I realized that because of the height, it might touch or even be blocked by USB headers, audio headers and other case connections at the bottom of the motherboard. The GPU's height is 5.7cm and the motherboard's ( From PCI-e to the case connections ) is ~5cm. Maybe while installing the gpu, I could somehow bend the connectors without breaking them? Any ideas? Or maybe even buy a new motherboard, which I would prefer not to, but if absolutely necessary, I could do it.

Link to the picture of the motherboard : https://prnt.sc/26w2t45

Motherboard model : Asus Prime B450M-A
GPU model : Asus ROG Strix RTX 3070 V2 Gaming OC

No. It does not touch anything. All the motherboard connectors are below GPU plastic shroud.

No.

It will fit but might need careful cable management. Bigger question is will it fit in your case and what make and model is your psu?
I will buy a new PSU, I was thinking about EVGA 850W GT, because my current PSU is only 500W. It's Chieftec GPS-500A8.

My case is Deepcool D-Shield V2. It should fit in the case, because the case's maximum GPU length is 370mm and the GPU itself is 310mm.

Also, why do you think it would fit with the motherboard?

I too think it'd fit in the case and motherboard is OK too.
Buying a good quality PSU is a must with a demanding graphics card as that Chieftec is not good news.

Not sure about this and let's see if others can add to this. Is this EVGA 850W GT one of the ones made by HEC?
