Dude it's called DIY. If it doesn't fit, make it fit but in a good way. Although 1.6 inches is pretty huge for modifications.

why would it not fit? If it's smaller than the space, then it will fit inside....

have never built an itx system but i know ITX motherboards do not fit atx cases nor do atx psu's so i would asume that an atx card would not fit either

your information is categorically wrong;

- A case that supports mATX/ATX motherboards may also support an ITX motherboard
- Many ITX cases support full-size ATX PSUs
- The only difference between a normal graphics card and an "ITX" card is the size of the heatsink and shroud, but the connector (PCIe 3.0x16) is the same
