Hi all, I'm currently looking to upgrade my old GTX 980 by purchasing a RTX 3060 Ti for my birthday (which is tomorrow).

I am currently looking at the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 3X OC LHR and the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB OC v2 LHR and was wondering if either would fit into my computer, before actually buying it.
I was hoping anyone could give me some help and tell me if it can, cause I'm not really smart when it comes to putting parts together and what not.

I'll write down everything I have below:
Case: CORSAIR iCUE 465X RGB - MidtowermodelATX
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
RAM :Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 (2x 8GB)
SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Power Supply: Corsair RMx 750 W 80+
GPU: GeForce GTX 980

Thank you in advance!

Yes to the ASUS, no to the MSI.

Maximum card length 300mm. MSI is 305mm long. The ASUS is 269mm long.

MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 3X OC LHR
Card dimension 305 x 120 x 42 mm (According to MSI website spec)

CORSAIR iCUE 465X RGB - Midtower model ATX
Maximum GPU Length 300 mm (according to Corsair website spec)

So, 5mm too short, its a gamble

Max CPU cooler height 160mm, so the card is not too tall at 120mm.

I suppose I'll have to opt for the ASUS one then? Quite frankly I don't know if two fans will be any worse as opposed to three fans.
But currently these are the two that are the cheapest ones available for me, hence why I want to opt for either of these.

If you have any other advice for me, I'll be happy to hear it.
But other than that, thank you very much!
