Will this GPU work on my 480W PSU?

Solution
Here's the list we generally use to recommend good PSUs.

you should be looking to buy a Tier 1 or Tier 2 unit for the high demands of a gaming machine.

You could make that PSU fit by using Molex, but it is not built for the transient load spikes that a powerful GPU will throw at it and it is in danger of catastrophic failure.

In any case, I would want a slightly more powerful PSU; 500W+. I'd be looking in the fifty quid range.

from the specs on that page "1x 6-Pin PCI-e Power (Graphics Cards)
1x 8-Pin (6+2-Pin) PCI-e Power (Graphics Cards)"

your post says it needs 2 6 pins and it has 2 6pins :D the 6+2 is a 6 pin with an extra 2 pins you can use if you need it. since you won't need it, then you just use it as 2 6 pins. it is a good psu and will make your pc happier than the 500w evga w1 in the long run

i never did figure out the difference between the ts and the pro core from them. your ts actually has 3 6+2 pin pcie connectors while the pro core only has a 6 pin and an 8 pin.

other than that they both have 45 amp 12v rails. i often wonder if it is a regional thing with one being a US model and the other for other parts of the world. but that might not be right either.

either way, both are a great pick for your pc and will run your system wonderfully.
