Will this graphics card do?

Ok, so basically what i want to know is whether or not this graphics card will be a worthwhile buy http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/AMD_Series/EAH6450_SILENTDI1GD3LP/. I want to get it as an upgrade for my Hp Pavilion a6637c (Specs here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01555016&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=101&contentType=SupportFAQ&prodSeriesId=3793920&prodTypeId=12454) Anyway, i also wanted to know if this graphics card can handle games like Skyrim or maybe even Battlefield 3. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

no, its not intended to be a gaming card; its intended for home theatre pc's.

more than likely you won't even be able to start either of those games with that card even at lowest settings and resolution. But if it could, I don't know why anyone would want to play a game as beautiful as Skyrim or as awesome of BF3 on those settings. How much is your budget?
