Everything you have will work except your power supply, which is too low of a wattage... Heres is a good supply with reasonable price

Oh please, get off your horse, for what he doing it's fine. The CX series has good reviews and the appropriate voltage rails.

Bottom line get a new power supply and do some research. Don't get the first one based off what some guy in one forum says, myself included.

Maybe you are corsair fan...I don't know but I see you use one of the better series' supply. No high horse here, I just dont recommend things that dont last because I know as a builder that it sux buying the same part twice. XFX I recommended is made by seasonic. You will be hard pressed to find bad reviews about them

Why does it matter how many times I have posted... Go back and read the link you sent me. Half way down or so they tell you that the review is from an old series cx and that the new ones are completely different, cheaper made and lie about wattages to get you to buy them at the cheaper post.

Way to post the link to prove yourself wrong !!!! Makes it way easier on everyone else!!!

How much do you think is going to stressing that supply, seriously. HE IS RUNNING A 7770. I recommended things based on people needs. I guarantee you that he'll move on to another build before that PSU crashes.

Regardless, the one you recommended is definitely better I am not debating that, if he can afford it he should go for it.

It does matter because you have no rep (either do I).

And the point of the link is to show that it is an adequate PSU for his needs. Do you picture him OCIng with that set-up

If you read what it wrote in the next post " its designed to be an average unit thats reliable" and Tom's HW just recently reviewed it and found no issues...http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-review-80-plus-bronze,3587-5.html. It is a cheap reliable unit and that is what I was going for when I made my recommendation.

I was looking more at the 5 year warranty as opposed to 1 or the testing done by XFX at 50c as opposed to CX at 30c . My favorite one it the very last post in the link you posted, which was stated by a PSU expert with almost 1200 post.

Im sorry you can type til you are blue in the fingers. The numbers don't lie and you won't convince me to buy cheaply built products. As you can see by my build, I use Silverstone and Ive been using the same supply since 2009. I have made well educated decisions and they have paid off.

Maybe I am not communicating my point very well, whatever, I have to go dump-out.

Like I said before, I agree with you that the one you suggested is better and if money is not an issue he should grab it.

p.s. Sorry to Jackywhite for hijacking his thread with babble. Good luck bud and if you can afford it go with a better quality PSU like OOF suggested
