This GPU requires a minimum of a 400 Watt power supply, the website says 300 - 350 peak so that is not powerful enough to power the system and the GPU.

Well that card should be fine for Blizzards games and some massive multiplayer games but this card won't be able to handle the current generation of AAA games.

I use to have an FM2 system that had an Athlon II 750K, it couldn't handle much I have to say not even Team Fortress 2. You have not said what CPU you actually have just that it is an FM2 socket one, the site states the same, you will need to find out so I know what CPU you have so I can help you some more:

If the CPU is decent you can put in a decent 500w PSU and get GTX 950 if your a casual gamer or a GTX 960-70 if your a hardcore one. If the CPU isn't that good you might as well rip out that system and get an Intel Haswell or AMD FX board depending on which you'd rather go for.

The motherboard may be compatible but he does not have a large enough PSU to run the flipping GPU!
