Will This Graphics Card Work On This Pc 300w psu

300w HP psu
1 extra fan in back of HP case

It needs 20A on the 12V rail and that PSU has 19A.....it's close, you could try it but I'd definitely consider buying a new PSU ASAP.

A replacement PSU will not be expensive, something like the Antec VP450 or XFX TS 430W or EVGA 430W or FSP Hexa 400W would be ideal and cost between $30-50

Thanks for the reply but im actually asking these questions for a friend and he said to me he doesn't want to get a new psu. So would the psu hes got now be okay ?

Like I say it *might* for a short time but if he's pushing a PSU like that hard by pulling more than its maximum power it won't last long

I would personally get an XFX 450W or a Seasonic 420W power supply.
