I am looking at purchasing a new graphics card for my computer as my current really lets it down, in my searches I think I have found one that would suffice - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143161
In the system requirements of this graphics card it says

"425W PCI Express-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 28A or more*"

and

One 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector -or- Two 4-pin Molex supplementary power connectors

My PC is a Compaq Presario CQ5306UK Desktop PC,
The processor is an Intel 2 Core Quad Processor and this is the motherboard - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01903990&lc=en&cc=uk&dlc=en#N74

As well as wondering if this will work with my PC I think I am going to need a new PCU, my current is a Lite-On PS-5301-08HF 300 Watt Power Supply , can anyone recommend one that will work?

Thanks in advance

Sea Sonic and Corsair do good ones, I would recommend a GPU with external exhaust, meaning it vents the hot air out of the case. Considering you case does not have many fans, I would consider a GPU like I said.

Yes it would work with a new PSU. However, what are you looking to be able to do that makes you want to upgrade? This card does not offer much in the way of performance, so I wouldn't want you to expect something more than it could offer.

I mostly play games like Cod4, FPS on my current is really bad, just looking for one that can hold its own in that department, Low settings dont bother me but my current is an Intel Chipset or something and like I said, it really struggles.

What do you think about blowing $60-90 on a GTX 460? You can even get a 768MB model, I use one, and it will do War Thunder maxed out at 70+ FPS. The difference between the DX10 and DX11 GPUs is huge.

I'll take a look at that yeah

Hold on, before I send you off of the GPU cliff, how much RAM do you have, and what is the CPU clock?

4GB RAM, not sure about the CPU clock how will I check that?

Should be something like: Control Panel-> System-> View RAM and Processor Speed. I am on my macbook pro right now so I cannot check.

2.50 GHz, is that the right thing?

Yes. Now, if you ant to play more games in the long run, I would recommend more RAM. However, a normal GTX 460 would improve your play substantially, and should not cause a bottleneck at the RAM or CPU.

Yeah, I think I will do when I have the money, is the CPU clock good?

Pretty good, my macbook pro's i5 runs at 2.5 normal, turbos to 3.1Ghz. My FX8350 runs at 4.5Ghz at OC, but it is brand new and liquid cooled, so it's a little different. That C2 Quad probably is a little faster than the Dual Core Xenon in my Dell Precision 490, but it is Hyperthreaded.
