I'm asking if Gigabyte GA-H110-D3A comes with an updated bios to support Kaby lake g3930 out of the box or does it have to be updated with a skylake cpu so it can be used with Kaby lake? Only 100% tested response please.

(This is not a 100% tested response)

Only if the board has F20 or better bios. (Preferably F21 or better).

There is no way to tell if the particular motherboard you are looking at was manufactured and shipped with BIOS version F20 or higher, so there is no way for us to answer your question. Some were shipped with earlier versions of the BIOS, some were shipped with later versions of the BIOS.

According to Newegg's question and answer, "This board ships (purchased July 31, 2017) with Bios Version F21".

I would personally ask the supplier what version bios is installed. If I was buying from Newegg I would feel comfortable saying 'Yes, a 3930 will work out of the box', but I would have a computer store ready to install a different processor to update the bios if I ran into a problem.

(shrugs)

It depends.

Well I live in Europe so no newegg for me. It would help a lot if they had rev 2.0 for this board so I would know for sure. Either way I'm not risking getting a bricked mobo. Thanks anyway.
