Will this Laptop Run Games?

Okay so I have a laptop: Asus r500v series
And I was wondering if i could start to play games on it. I usually use my desktop for gaming but I have to leave home for an extended trip. Here are the specs:
Intel i7 processor
nvidia 510m 2gig GPU
1 Terabyte hard drive
8 gigs of ram memory
Windows 8 os

Is it possible or should I just take my desktop (Very heavy btw)
The games i was hoping to run were games like Skyrim, LoL, WoW, Dota2, Low rate Steam games, Cod and etc

What is the no. of your cpu
your gpu will bottleneck your cpu.it is a weak gpu.try to get 730m min.
