I'm looking for a laptop for general internet use and schoolwork that can also play Football manager and Total war games for around £500 and I've been looking at this laptop:
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/lenovo-g710-17-3-laptop-21707560-pdt.html
If the link's not working the Specs are:
i3 4000M
1GB GT720M
4GB RAM
1600 X 90
I know it'll play Football manager but how well will it run Rome 2, I'm fine with low settings as fine as long as the game runs decently. I'm open to suggestions of better laptops in roughly the same price range.

You will want to get a laptop with at least a gt 745 or 760M to play rome total war efficiently. Football manager doesn't need much but RTW2 is graphics intensive

Sorry I took a while to get back to you. I checked on amazon UK and this is what I found. I hope they fall into your budget.

This is what you would ideally want to get. (Its on sale right now) ideapad y 510p

This is a more budget option lenovo idea pad z500

Yeh the y510p is over the budget but I'm building a custom laptop for around £680 with i3 4100M(might change to i5 4200M) 8GB RAM and GT750M, I started a thread as I was wondering whether it would play Rome 2.

I think you'll be fine, your gpu looks good.
