[SOLVED] will this LED strip work with my motherboard?

Solution
The led strip is a standard 4pin ARGB addressable led light strip.
Your motherboard has 1x 4pin RGB header.

ARGB and RGB are not the same. ARGB has 3pins actual, 4pin connector. RGB has 4pin actual, 4pin connector. ARGB is addressable, every led can have a different color and brightness, so the 'Rainbow' affect is possible. RGB is not addressable, so All leds in the fan/strip share the same color/brightness, making 'Rainbow' impossible.

RGB strips are commonly 12v, ARGB strips are 5v.

It won't work by itself, the strip needs either an ARGB header, or some sort of controller.
