Question will this M.2 NVMe SSD work for game storage on my system

hi people . so the drive im looking at is a

i have a MSI X470 GAMING PLUS MAX Motherboard https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X470-GAMING-PLUS-MAX/Overview

so im 98% sure it will work with that motherbored but not 100% so i thought id come ask here before i buy . the drives selling for a ok price for a 2TB
the m.2 top m.2 slots has a m.2 in it with the OS installed but in pretty sure that montherbored has a second slot

Yes it will work but be sure to make note of this from the manufacturer site for your board.

PCI_E6 slot will be unavailable when installing M.2 PCIe SSD in M2_2 slot.
