Work in

THIS Laptop - https://www.walmart.com/ip/ASUS-TUF...2676749?fulfillmentIntent=Pickup&athbdg=L1600

Thank you for your help! Want to get a laptop, but need to get local and im total noob w/ upgrading but 8gb not enough and I'd like to get 32gb for $60 if it works. I can upgrade to DDR5 later

And if not, could you give me an example (Amazon link) of what would work so I know? Thank you and sorry if this seems stupid question.

The ad initially says:
"8GB RAM"

The specs below says:
"16GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM"

In any case, your selected DDR4 will not work with the apparently existing DDR5.
I want to replace all the memory. I'm pretty sure it's a typo and it has 8gb. I want to buy 2x 16gb for $60 and replace the original DDR5 w/ 1 of them. But idk if this memory will work w/ laptop cpu/gpu or however that works. Theres 2 memory slots in laptop.

"I'm pretty sure"....

You need to know what it is before you buy.
Will 2x of those memory sticks work in this laptop yes or no? It has 8gb. Every other version has 8gb. It says in title 8gb. I want to replace that memory with 2 new 16gb sticks. So will the ones I linked work or not?

Weather it is 1 8gb or 2 8gb sticks it doesn't matter. I will replace them with 2 sticks = 32gb.

Thank you, I wasn't sure because the CPU says DDR4 3200 is compatible

But I guess it's the motherboard/gpu? I wasn't being lazy and just asking for handout, i looked stuff up, just wasn't sure. I know the SSD is a 202080 M.2 SSD

Is this memory good? or would you recommend something else?

I was hoping above would work because thats all my small town has, I didn't want to have to wait for shipping

Memory Types:
Up to DDR5 4800 MT/s
Up to DDR4 3200 MT/s
Up to LPDDR5 5200 MT/s
Up to LPDDR4x 4267 MT/s

The CPU can talk to either.
The motherboard, OTOH...only one type.
Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my noob question.

Probably not. Memory is generally proprietary to the laptop in question.

Your best bet for memory for that laptop is to either contact ASUS or go to crucial.com and have their online app scan your laptop and pick out the correct memory for you.

The specs from ASUS are:
Memory
8GB DDR5-4800, SO-DIMM x 2 slot, Max Capacity: 32GB
16GB DDR5-4800, SO-DIMM x 2 slot, Max Capacity: 32GB
Support dual channel memory

Your best bet would be to find the lowest latency/price DDR5-4800 (only higher if it's cheaper) SO-DIMMs you can and just get those.

Edit these are the lowest latency sticks I saw when taking a quick look: https://www.gskill.com/product/2/384/1651806404/F5-4800S3434A16GX2-RS-F5-4800S3434A16GA2-RS
