Hello everyone I just recently installed my ASUS z170a mobo and my EVGA Supernova b2 850w. During the installation I noticed it required an 8pin connector and all I had was a 4pin so I found on toms that its alright for a 4pin, but I did notice some posts saying you cant overclock. Im not that smart on computer components just know the basics and stuff I dont know I google or ask. Can anyone give me an answer on whether I can OC my CPU. Its a intel i5 6600k. Thank you.

The 850W B2 HAS A 2 - 4+4 pins = 8 pin for the CPU , it's 100% compatible. You insert a 4+4.

It's fine to overclock.

Im pretty sure I tried using the other 4 pin, and it didnt look like it would fit. Ill try it again tonight when I get home. If it doesnt work will just a single 4 pin work fine for OC'ing or will I need the 8 pin.

Ok thank you! Thats what I was worried about was the shape. Ill fix it when I get home! Thanks for all the help
