Hi, I'm new into networking infrastructure so I would like to know if this topology will work,

Corrections will be greatly appreciated, and I would also like to know which devices have their own IP

Thank you!

You'll want to label the IPs, GWs and DNS. So whatever you want for the wireless router such as 192.168.10.254 and a DNS like 192.168.10.1. Then for the first cluster of workstations you'd label each something like 192.168.10.100-200 / 24 with the same DNS. Then you'd do something like 192.168.10.2 for the server connected to the switch, once again with the same DNS.

I'm a student myself as well however I haven't done a multiplex design yet, I've done more basic LAN's. I'd be worried about going into a network position without being able to label them man :\

Not trying to worry you just I'd personally wouldn't be confident. That's about all I can do for you, doubt anyone else will design the rest of it on here either...

Thanks for dropping by mate.

The pic is merely my illustration of a small office network topology, suppose they are mix of brands or just cisco

I hope anyone would help me with defining the parameters(eg: ip, mask, etc) cause I haven't understood that part.

Thanks!.

The physical side of things looks fine, now it's just time to label everything so the logical side of things makes sense. If your new to networking you should of perhaps went with a much simpler design, perhaps a cluster of work stations with a couple additional servers and a printer.

I'm guessing this is for a class?
