Hi.

I am starting to look in to components for building a desktop PC.
So I could really use your input if my list below is okay.
Most of the pieces are based on reviews on this site, but I do not know if they go well together.
It should mainly be used for gaming at 2560 x 1440 and I would prefer not upgrading the system for the next 3 to 5 years.

What do you think of the components below? Are there anything you would change?
I hope this sense.
Thank you for your help

Intel is on the verge of releasing their next gen. lineup anytime now. Purchasing Intel is not good value at the moment...

If you are in a hurry, AMD would be better value for money...

Looks good mostly, but could be improved. You have a budget(all the above parts) and location???

I live in Denmark and when I convert the amount to USD it is 3200. It is including all parts mentioned in my post like monitors, keyboard ect.
The budget is 3600 USD max.

What would you say could be improved or changed?

Thank you very much for the input, Hellfire13

Giving me 2 alternative lists was more than could hope for.
You have giving me some things to think over.
But could you answer me the following:
Why wait for new Intel release. For current to get cheaper or get new one?
Could you explain why you made the changes you did? Is it based on your personal experience?
I am thinking especially on GPU as the super, as far as I can see, is inferior to the Ti. Is this because of what you mentioned that you get more value for the money?

I would check Komplett.dk for better prices. For example the i9-9900K is more than 800 DKK cheaper there than at Newegg.
Thank you for the tip. I will definitely consider this when I start to order the parts

Because the new processors are deemed to be around 30% faster and cheaper than current price tags for the same core/thread count. Current Intel processors are hardly any better than the AMD processors in spite of being more expensive.

I have experience with most of these parts including the ones listed by yourself. The parts listed by you are equally good except the PSU, which I will suggest could be pretty borderline in terms of sufficient wattage, specially if you OC. While compiling the list I realized that given your price tag you might be getting some parts from a cheaper source than PCPP listed vendors, and i suggest that you stick to it if thats the case.

The 2080ti is better but not worth the price difference. Instead if you go with a stronger platform with a hyperthreaded processor, it can last you way longer down the line with suitable GPU upgrade when required.

Thanks again. You have been very helpful and I will look at your input and consider what I will do next. If I have any questions at a later stage I will create a new thread.
