Will this new build work

Hey guys, my friend is in the process of selecting parts for his build, and we're curious to know if theres any issues with the following parts:

Will it all work well? from what i can tell, the cpu is supported by the motherboard without flashing.

Any issues there? Open to suggestions.

your build is fine. i would like to suggest this PSU if you care to consider it.
Antec High Current Gamer HCG-520 £53.99inc. vat

a 500 watt PSU is plenty to run your rig as spec'd including any overclocking. that PSU will NOT limit you if you decide to upgrade to any better single graphics card later. it could also handle a 7850 Xfire set up.

Great thanks both of you, i'll consider a different PSU, although from the differing opinions here I may just stick with the happy medium.

let me point out something.

the antec is made by seasonic a highly reputable OEM, where as the GS is made by CWT a fine OEM but not as good as seasonic.
you can find OEMs here:

also BOTH PSUs have just two 8 pin PCI connections; so the corsair GS won't be able to Xfire any better than the antec HCG with the provided power connections; which also has enough amps on the 12 volt rail to support it.

so what i am saying is the GS isn't worth the extra £10

if you want to do a little reading the link i posted also have links to reviews of each PSU.


(edit: don't think a higher wattage = better. look at the 12 volt rail and the connections)
