Will this pc build work, do I need something else?

Hello,

I am thinking about building a computer (this is my first time) and everytime i learn about a new component i keep getting more confused about if it will work or not.

I think i have gotten everything right so far, but I am not sure if everything will fit together or work. My questions are; Will everything fit together, if not what doesn't? Is there enough power or do i need any extra cables to connect my power supply to my MOBO, GPU, HDD or allready built in fans in the PC case?

Specs:

MOBO: ASUS Z97-P
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2 Ghz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 470 4GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" HDD
PC Case: Cooler Master CM Force 500 Midi Tower
RAM: 2x Corsair Value S DDR3 1333MHz 4GB
PSU: Corsair VS550, 550W PSU
Operative System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Flash USB

Hopefully this is everything I need, unless if I managed to forget something obvious. Im not an expert at computers, but I hope you experts got the information you need to be able to answer my questions.

Looks pretty good to me. Along as the parts are new, all the cables should come with the components. PSU will come with your molex and other cables, while the motherboard will come with your SATA cables.

You have everything needed to build a computer but you may want to also look into an optical drive which may be desired. Optical drives are becoming less of a necessity so if not wanting one, ignore this.

I agree. With my motherboard, the only way I could get the the network drivers were thru a DVD. I had to buy a external DVD drive for $15. Since I barely use it, it's nice to hook it up, only when I need it. Something to consider.

Everything will work together. But change the power supply to a descent one if possible. A good 450w is all you need. Corsair VS is literally the bottom line from corsair.

Some other thoughts -
As you are buying brand new, why not go with i5 6500 + a cheap B150 motherboard.
Buy a single stick of RAM instead of 2x4gb to save some extra money.

Wouldn't you want dual channel performance, though? And I thought buying the bundles were cheaper than a single stick.

Single 8gb stick will almost always be cheaper than 2x4gb stick. Dual channel is overrated. No real life performance gain. Check benchmarks. It improves compute power by about ~1% than single channel.
