Will this PC run the latest games on high?

Hello,

I will soon be buying a custom PC and just wanted to get some feedback on the rig. Main aim is to be able to run most games on high with a decent 40-50+ FPS.

AMD BULLDOZER QUAD CORE FX-4100 (3.60GHz/4MB CACHE/AM3+)
ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX - TUF SERIES MILITARY GRADE MOTHERBOARD
8GB SAMSUNG DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (2 X 4GB)
2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 670
1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 32MB CACHE
600W Quiet 80 PLUS Quad Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan

Horrible CPU great GPU. If your going AMD get that changed to a Phenom II 965BE (and OC it) or if you must go FX make it an 8120 (and OC it) also just my opinion but sabertooth is a waste of money theres just as featured quality mobos that cost less.

or

get an Intel i5 with that GPU and be happy as pig in sh*t

+1 FX CPUs are not good for gaming and an i5 is a much better choice a 965 is only a good choice if overclocking and even then not as good as an i5.

Thanks for the replies guys! Glad I checked with you before buying it, would've been bummed had I found this out after I had it. Alright, so I looked it up and came up with this new spec. Changed processor and motherboard. Any better now?

alot better though if you want to save some cash you can get an i5 and game as well as the i7

The PC you built is pretty good but you dont really need a Core i7.Intel's core i5 3570K is just as good at gaming but costs a lot less.

Ah right. May end up switching to an i5, just altogether this rig comes to about £1100 - so just thought if I can get the i7 may as well. Plus it didn't add much to the price. Anyway, thanks for the advice guys much appreciated!

Downgrade to the i5-3550K/3570K and put the spare cash towards an SSD.

Oh, yeah. Go for faster RAM as well, the ivy bridge stuff will take 1600MHz RAM and faster.
