[SOLVED] Will this PC work as an HTPC?

I'm looking for a new pre-built PC that will work as an HTPC for streaming and playing local video in 1080p and eventually stream 4k as well. I don't want a TV box/ media box like nVidia Shield, Roku, etc because I have wasted money on several such devices that don't even handle 1080p without stuttering or having other annoying issues. So I'm looking for a Windows 10 PC I can use as a home theater system controlled with a mouse and keyboard.

Will the specs on this system handle 4k streaming when that becomes more widely available? Also, anyone know if I can upgrade that video card with my old GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 660 Ti?

1080p, yes. 4K might require a new GPU like the 1030 or 750.

Also, replace that HDD with an SSD. Especially for an HTPC.

Almost every TV has a network media player that can play stuff off a network share, you don't even need a computer for that. Put the videos on a network share, no need for a separate computer.

It should be able to output at least 4K 30Hz depending on what kind of HDMI port it has. I highly doubt that system would have a good enough power supply to run a 660 Ti.

You could get an Amazon firestik 4k, for your streaming. For local files, a 4k capable bluray player.
