Will this PC work together?

Solution

No. For a PSU, first look toward XFX or Seasonic, then Antec or EVGA, then maybe look at Corsair. Their pricing may be competitive, but there are higher quality units out there.

Your build uses 1.65v memory modules (to gain those higher speeds). It will work, but is outside of what Intel recommends. I would go with the DDR3-1866 modules in the build from my post. 1.5v modules that are high performance being low latency.
MB - Changed to a different Gigabyte board with the same features.
MEM - DDR3-1866 CL9 1.5v
GPU - The EVGA Superclocked GTX 970 is a little cheaper and retains a high factory overclock
PSU - XFX Gold 750w

1) How is the gaming 7 better.. It says it has high audio capacitors
2) It's £10 more for 2400 so I will probably stick with it
3) GPU wise, The gigabyte gaming 1 has more shaders etc and is same price on an offer I saw.
PSU you suggested seems fine, but why £20 more?

For gaming purposes the Gaming 7 and Z97-SLI will give you the same experience. The main differences are with the number of SATA ports and their configuration for supporting drives. The Gaming 5 might be the better pickup if you are ok with four internal SATA ports.

The XFX offers better quality over the Corsair.

Not sure you are following what I am getting at... There is no need to spend the extra budget on the Gaming 7 when the Z97-SLI will do the same thing for you. If you want to stick with the Gigabyte Gaming series of motherboards, and won't be needing all 6 internal SATA ports, the Gaming 5 is at the same price level at the Z97-SLI.

Oh okay, it's just you mentioned paying for more SATA ports and they all have 6. I'll swap to the gaming 5 then. If you say the gaming 7 is not worth £17 more...

Would the 750W Corsair RM Series 80PLUS be better than your psu reccomendations?

Also concerning the RAM, I saw the PC Part picker error... Why do I have to reduce my RAM speed, is it my processor or...?
