Will This PC Work?

So I'm getting a new PC and while I've asked around and I'm pretty sure that everything will work, can anyone tell me if there are any flaws in this system?

CPU - I7 4770 (Not the K version)
GPU - GTX 970
RAM - 16GB 1600mhz DDR3 Corsair Vengence
HDD - 2TB SATA SSHD
Motherboard - H97 PRO
Cooling - Hyper 212 120mm
Power - XFX 550W
OS - Windows 10 (I'm getting 8 and upgrading)

Can you tell me if there any problems with this? Thanks.

The i7 is overkill, except in certain threaded optimized applications. (Which is not gaming)

The case is one from a very old desktop - it has windows 98, and I just like the i7 and the computer is for gaming and work

i5-4690k is the MOST you need for gaming.
