Im wondering if my new computer will play Crysis on a good frame rate (30 and above) and have good graphics (Very High-Enthusiast)
Here are my specs:
-Intel Pentium E5200, overclocked to 3.6GHz
-GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L Motherboard
-XFX GeForce GTS 250
-CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 800MHz
-NZXT Apollo Mid Tower Computer Case
-ZALMAN CNPS9700
-OCZ GameXStream 700W Power Supply

Very high settings, for the original crysis anyway, are a somewhat unreasonable goal if you are on a budget, in my opinion.
That said, my setup runs crysis at around 40 fps on high settings, although at 1024x1280 resolution with no AA, and your graphics card is faster.

for 1280x1024, I found that maxing everything, making shadows and geometry medium (also Physics Medium) You should get some decent frames, and depending on your VRAM, you can leave the textures on max.

I think shadows and Geometry are what kills in this game. I play it on my laptop, everything high DX 9, with 30 fps. Shadows I need to do medium once in a blue moon, but other than that it plays fine.
