Hi, I wanted do know if this power supply will be enough

Seasonic Ss400-es 400w
http://

This is the computer I'm building:

Mobo: Asus M5a97 Le R2.0
GPU: Nvidia Geforce Gtx 750ti 2gb
CPU: Amd Fx 6300 Black
Ram: 4gb Kingston Ddr3 (I'll add another one later)
Case: Mid Tower Sentey Ds1 4234

I've tried using the pcpartpicker.com power calculator, but it doesn't seem pretty accurate.

Thank you

If you are using pcpartpicker I'm going to assume you are in the US. If so and budget is a huge concern then in order of quality these are the units I would pick. All have mail in rebates to deal with though.

XFX Pro 550w. Seasonic made. Very good unit. $45 after rebate.

Roughly equal in quality and a step down from the XFX are the next 2.

EVGA 500B. Decent unit and cheap. $29 after rebate.

Corsair CSM. Only decent but good enough for a budget build. Also $29 after...
A system with a GTX 750 Ti needs a recommended 450w power supply.

Being that is a Seasonic ( the best ) you would probably be ok with that unit. However that is an older model ( 2007-2008 ) that is only 80 Plus certified. Personally I would upgrade it. I don't really trust any power supply over about 7 years old due to capacitor aging. You certainly don't want to stress an older unit.

Hi Jurinz
you will be fine with the seasonic psu
the GeForce GTX 750ti requires 20A on the +12v rail and a 400W PSU minimum
The seasonic is a good choice as they have high grade japanese capacitors
I would select this psu for some headroom It has 40A on the +12v rail and will power your system fine

The Mid Tower Sentey Ds1 4234 looks ok but by the look of it you it does not have good cable management nor a cpu cutout for the cpu's retention bracket and a lack of airflow
for a good midtower with great airflow i would suggest

stear clear of sentey PSU's they are a very low quality psu with low grade capacitors

I would trust the old Seasonic before that Sentey. Sentey does have some very good models but that one is not among them. The higher end Sentey units are made by Super Flower and the equal of any Seasonic. That model is made by R-Senda and I would not trust it top power a toaster.

You really going to tell him it's ok to stress a 7 or 8 year old unit? If it was a 500w or higher unit it would likely be ok as capacitor aging would not have reduced it's max power below the recommended minimum.

And Sentey is only junk with a very few of their low end units. Most of their lineup is decent to excellent. Anything made by Sirtec or Super Flower would very likely test good to excellent.

On this tier list the XFX would be tier 2. The EVGA and Corsair tier 3.
