Will this processor work with this motherboard?

Trying to put together my own computer and just wondering if this processor would work with this motherboard. It's a AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-core processor and a Gigabyte AM3+ AMD 970 GA-970A-DS3P motherboard. Yeah it will work, 1600MHz would be fine
