Will this processor work?

Hey guys. I'm new to the whole PC hardware business.

I would just like to know if this processor here:

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad 960T AM3 95W

would work with my motherboard, here:

The upgrade information says I can install this:

Socket type: AM2+
Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
Phenom with Quad Core (Agena) technology (AM2+) up to 9600 (up to 95 watt)
Athlon 64 X2 with Dual Core technology X2 up to 5600+ (up to 89 watt)
Athlon 64 less than 4000+
Sempron less than 3800+

So would the processor work?

A Zosma (0.045 micron) probably won't work since that motherboard is designed to support Agena (0.065 micron) Quad Core processors only.

The fastest one is the 9600 (HD9600WCGDBOX), but they are too expensive unless you buy a used one.
