Will this PSU be enough for a 1070?

Hello everyone, I've been a little worried recently about an upgrade that I plan to get this month.

I currently have the EVGA 600W 80+ power supply, I don't know the differences all too much with bronze/gold etc.. But I heard you only need a 500W PSU for a 1070. But I am still worried so I thought I'd ask a community of people who know.

My current build:
CPU: Intel I7 6700K
MOBO: ASRock Z170 Extreme+
1x 500GB HDD & 1x 1TB HDD
Sapphire R9 270x 2GB
8GB Ram
EVGA 600W 80+ PSU

I am planning to upgrade to a 1070 this month (Not sure which 1070 yet). But I was wondering/hoping my current PSU would be enough to handle it, if I swap out the R9 270X for the 1070. I checked and know the wattage for the cards are recommended the same, but obviously the 1070 is more powerful as a card which is the only thing making me worried as of right now.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

EDIT: I do not plan to overclock the system at all, and if I ever consider it I know I'd definitely need to upgrade the PSU.

Solution
then get a quality PSU now. PSUs have a long shelf life.
u wont go more than 650W even with a 7700k/1080ti. with a 1070, u need only a 550w.
so i would recommend the evga g3, seasonic s12g, that super flower there ^ , xfx pro.

The reason I'm holding back on purchasing a PSU for it currently, as in a few months I plan to buy a more expensive psu which will be silent and future proof me, so I'm only currently asking if my current PSU would be fine because if I buy a new PSU now for just this and then purchase another one in a few months would seem like a waste, but if I have to I guess I will.
