Will this psu be enough for my system?

Hey so i am upgrading my Gateway 4860-UR10P stock pc by adding a SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W PSU. i bought it because it was for 60 bucks and because the stock 300W is crap. And for now, i have a used GTX 560 ti that my friends giving me. I am not overclocking or anything, no other changes, only adding new psu and gpu. Will that PSU be enough to handle the card? Also, how long do you think i can last on this card before i need an upgrade? My friends used this card quite a bit. i mosly play newer shooters/action games. I would be playing mostly on medium to high settings. how long do u think that might be possible on the newer next gen games if at all? Thanks in advance.

Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, XFX, Rosewill, etc
