Will this PSU bear up with an R9 270x?

Getting a PSU for free... 😀 (yay!) will it be able to cope up with the r9 270x? i know it needs 500W minimum, but since this product is antec..?

Should be fine with an Intel processor and if you don't overclock.

R9 270X has a TDP of 180W.

AMD processors need more power.

The R9-270 does not "require" 500W. That is just the GPU manufacturer's blind recommendation for the whole system they know nothing about based on what sort of system they expect a given GPU model to land in, along with a generous margin in case of crappy PSU.
