Alrighty, so I've already purchased some of the other hardware. I'm not overclocking my CPU, so no comments on the CPU or Mobo please.

Here's the set up MINUS the case.

GPU-AMD 7950 -http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Mini-Displayport-PCI-Express-Graphic-GV-R795WF3-3GD/dp/B007581QHG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1378943184&sr=8-1&keywords=7950

CPU-Intel 3470 -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115234

Motherboard-ASrock B75 Pro-3M -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157329

RAM (Discontinued) Samsung
MV-3V4G3D/US 2x4GB DDR3 1600

Storage WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200RPM -http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0036Q7MV0/?tag=pcpapi-20

Optical Drive (Discontinued) Samsung

Last is the Power supply. My estimated wattage is roughly 360W.
I currently have this picked out:

Budget isn't really a problem, but I'd like to keep from spending $100 (USD)

Is this PSU going to explode if I'm at maximum performance? I am a gamer.

I've been told you want some PSU overhead, but I don't know enough about power supplies.

That 500 watt PSU should be fine. I have never had any issues with Corsair PSUs. The only thing I would suggest is to buy the modular version, giving you better airflow in your case.

I appreciate the replies guys, you've saved me some money. But just to be sure, the GPU I've picked won't strain the build if it's under load?

Alright thanks
