Hi my system specs are:
ASUS SABERTOOTH X79,
Core i7 3820 @3.6GHz with Stock LGA2011 Cooler,
16 GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz CL9(4X4GB),
GTX 650 OC 2GB,
750 GB WD Cavair Black 64mb Cache,
Superchannel 711 Case,
2 X LG 16 X DVD Writers,
1 X 120mm LED Fan,
1 X 200mm LED Fan.
1 X 120m Fan,
Superchannel REX-750AS PSU,

I want to know if this PSU will run a GTX780.
Here are the specs on the PSU
Superchannel
REX-750AS

60/50Hz
10/6A

Output I MIN I MAX I PEAK
+12V1 1A 26A 21A
+12V2 1A 26A 21A
+5V 0.5A 24A

+5V & +3.3V combined load 160W

Will it run a GTX 780 and the rest of my system. I don't overclock. I can't find any info on the PSU online so any help will be apprecaited. I have the system for 2 years now.

I got the case and PSU for about $120 if worked out on exchange rate. So I know its not a good PSU.

PS* I live in South Africa.

Ok thanks. I have had no trouble so far with the PSU for 2 years. So I will rather upgrade the PSU before I buy the GTX780. It will take me a bit longer but rather safe than sorry.
I had a look at these two they both work out to roughly $250 with exchange rate(Rand to Dollar). Both I can get in South Africa. Any other suggestions?
COOLER MASTER VANGUARD, 850W (12V: 840W) (RS850-AFBAG1), EPS12V V2.91 + SSI + AT
CORSAIR HX850 GOLD, 850W (12V: 840W), MODULAR CABLE MANAGEMENT, ATX 12V V2.31 +

With is better and why?
Thanks

They are both great power supplies. I've been using Corsair power supplies in all of my computers lately, and they've all be excellent. But the Cooler Master V series also gets great reviews.

It really just comes down to which one you can get cheaper. Either one will last you a long time.

It looks like mine only has two rails. What I can't understand is the MAX and PEAK amps. My PSU also only has a 1X 8pin power for VGA no other 8pin or 6pin.

Thanks for all your guys time and advice you offered me. I will upgrade the power supply before I do anything else. So the Corsair HX 850 is better than Coolermaster?

What is the difference between Corsair HX 850w, AX 850w and RM 850w?
I can get the AX 850w and RM 850w for the same price but the HX is more expensive.

Which is the best between those three?
I heard Corsair had coil whine noise is there any truth to that?

Thanks

Best 850w on the market at a great price.

Performance (40% of the final score) - we're down to scoring time again. And, as with all other recent units from EVGA and Super Flower, this one will be a breeze to score. Pass for Gold, both cold and hot, means no points removed from a perfect score. Amazing ripple suppression the likes of which has only been seen a handful of times on this site means no points removed there. And finally, yes, this unit did manage to hold onto an average of 1.2% regulation in the hot box so no points come off there, either. This guy's getting a 10.

Functionality (20% of the final score) - full modularity. Lots of cables. Good cable lengths. Plenty of connectors. Switchable semi-fanless mode. Lots of goodies in the box. Nice size 16 gauge line cord. I really can't think of anything to complain about here, either. 10.

Value (20% of the final score) - $144.99 is the asking price of these at Newegg right about now. It shares this price with the Silverstone ST85F-GS. Now, about the only thing that unit has on this one is its much shallower depth. Other competition? What other competition? Coolmax? More money, if you can believe that. Corsair HX850? More money. Corsair RM850? More money. Themaltake Toughpower Grand? More money. Seasonic X-850 KM3? Way more money. EVGA has this category locked right down. 10.

Build Quality (20% of the final score) - I'm going to remove a point for the fan control wiring and be done with it on this one. Soldering is good enough to pass with no deductions, the AC line filter is pretty much all there in the end, the component selections are fantastic, and the capacitors are wall to wall Japanese. 9.5.

That looks like a great PSU but I don't know of any stores here in South Africa that carries EVGA PSU's.
For about the same price I can get Seasonic M12II-850 EVO Bronze 850Watts 80 Plus Bronze Certified Fully Modular Desktop Power Supply. Is there any comparison between the two or would I be better off to try and get the EVGA PSU.

Thanks you are really going out of your way to help and I really appreciate it.

With 70 AMPS ON THE 12V RAIL and made by the best SEASONIC , you can't go wrong.

SeaSonic SS-850KM3 X Series 850W ATX12V 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply. This is the other unit I can get hold of but its a bit more expensive and has a 5year warranty. The other unit(Seasonic M12II-850 EVO ) has a 3 year warranty. Is KM3 unit worth a $80 price premium over the EVO. The EVO I can get for $150 and the KM3 $230. Both I can get in South Africa so it save shipping costs.

Thanks
